One topic that hasn’t been addressed yet is the CASE program, which stands for Children’s After School Experience (click here for brochure).
CASE allows for families to drop off children in Grades PreK-8 as early as 7:00 a.m. and extends after-school pick up until anytime before 6:00 p.m.

For the Lower School, CASE is still located in the same room but it now has that renovated space all to itself. The room has been completely redecorated to fit those before-care and after-school purposes. As you will be able to see the first time you visit, the LS CASE room has been painted as a nature scene with rolling hills, trees, water and even white clouds covering some of the light fixtures. Perhaps most importantly, it will still have easy access to the playground right outside its windows.
Families picking up from LS CASE should park along Viking Way or in the athletics lot to enter through the Lower School’s main entrance and proceed straight down the hallway to the LS CASE room (last room on the right before proceeding to the theater lobby area).
In the Middle School, before-care is not offered but MS students may enter the hallways as early as 7:00 a.m. The MS CASE program begins right after school in rooms C112 and C114 (Ms. Keating’s science classroom and Mr. Simpson’s math classroom).

Families picking up from MS CASE can either park in the upper school parking lot and walk through the senior quad area to enter the Middle School or call 614-509-2298 to request that their child(ren) be sent outside to the MS/US drop-off circle.
You can register for CASE by completing this form. Any questions regarding CASE should be directed to Alyssa King, Academy’s director of special programs, at 614-509-2529 or KingA@columbusacademy.org.
